| Chorleywood were soon in trouble against table topping Baldock Town collapsing to 10-3, a 50 partnership between under 17s Freddie Dare who hit 22 and Kieran Singh steadied the ship and then Singh who made a cultured 72 and Mike Rose who smashed a quick fire 100* took the Wood to 229-6 after 49 overs. Despite being top and batting on an excellent track with a short boundary Baldock did not attempt to chase the Woods total. Skipper Simon Dare tried everything, opening with 12 year olds leggie Ryan Toms and left arm seamer Pete Sinderberry he then moved to an experienced combination of Mike Rose and Mark Sinderberry before returning to a youth policy with Robbie Marshs 14 year old leg spin and Jonnie Rices medium pace and while Rice took 2 wickets the game petered out to a tame draw with Baldock reaching 168-6.
