From Wikipedia (briefly):
The events of August 22nd 2009 proved a day to forget for the legendary ex test player. Such arrived at Chorleywood Cricket Ground (the team he helped defeat despite being comprehensively out gunned by Chorleywood hunk Jonathan Rice earlier in the season at Totteridge) with plenty of time to gather himself before his most challenging test of his career. Rice was already prowling the grounds looking in ferocious shape and Such knew this could be a pivotal moment in his long and succesful career.
Chorleywood choose to bat and were in trouble with Such dominating from the top end. The wicket of Alex Hodgkinson brought Rice to the crease. Immediately there was a sense of determination in Such's stride to prove he could outwit the young starlet. A tempting line on middle and leg was probed to try and draw the Achilles heal sweep shop from Rice. With no success a change in field was needed and men were sent out to the boundary. Such strode in, delivered a flighted delivery and watched as his confidence and respect was strewn all over the Chorleywood common in the form of a sweetly struck maximum from Rice (the incredibly impressive alpha male). It was evident this could spell the end of an illustrious career and this was confirmed by another even larger and more delicious six being hoisted into the road. Rice went on to make 17 before he was cruelly given out to a ball that drifted, nipped away, turned 2 foot, was missing all 3 and was going over the top to lead Chorleywood to an unlikely win against Totteridge.
Such, in tatters, also batted but it was clear he was in no shape to try and ressurect the Totteridge innings and was given out to slow seam bowler Michael Dunning playing the slog sweep (Rice's only flaw in life). The two maximums took the formidable Rice's tally off Such to 4 for the season and confirm how horrendously impressive he is.
