| Saturdays game followed a very similar pattern to the previous weeks, Sawbridgeworth won the toss and choose to
bat first, they made a good start losing only one wicket to the pace of Ciaran Singh in the initial 18 overs, the
match then changed with the introduction of Mark Sinderberry who in tandem with Mike Rose pressurised the opposition
into a series of mistakes, Mark finished with 2-22 off 15 overs and Mick Rose took 6-69, these experienced
bowlers now have 26 and 42 league wickets respectively this season. Set a total of 167 the regular opening partnership
of Dare and Smithson once again pilled on the runs putting on 150 before Tom Smithson was out for 56, Simon
Dare went on the hit 80* and Sharat Dua hit the wining runs, this 9 wicket victory guarantees promotion for the
Woods Third team with 3 matched to go.
