| Chorleywoods Sunday firsts travelled to Wembley with 2 game plans, Plan A was to bat first... score loads bowl the opposition out quickly and get back to the club to watch the football. Plan B was to bat first and get bowled out quickly and then get back to the club house to watch the world cup final. Plan B was put into effect and rarely has a Chorleywood team carried out the skippers instructions with such clinical effectiveness. We were bowled out in 28 overs and it took Wembley only 9 overs to hit the 87 runs required.. on the positive side we took 3 wickets in the first 7 overs and our keeper was better than theirs unfortunately they bowled. out fielded and batted better than us but we did get see the football.
