The Annual Dinner will be held at Chorleywood Golf Club on 17th November. Loads of Silverware will be on display. Tickets, limited to 50 in number, will be available from this Saturday priced £25 (same as last 3 years) which includes, as ever, almost unlimited wine/port on the table. A few things to mention here..
Steve Toms has passed 1000 runs for the season and Lance Dry is about to break the club record for runs in a season, if he hasnt already.
Nick Rice has just taken his 2000 1st XI wicket for the club.
The sunday 1's have followed the 2's to league victory in the Chess Valley League, apparently the first time in history a club has gone 14-0 in the league.
Saturday 1's have finished 5th and the 3's have gained promotion from Div 12 in the Herts league.
Well done to all involved.

I need some volunteers to help run this site. Basically all you will have to do is input the scores from the matches each weekend into a form in the admin section of the website, you will also be able to add news articles etc. Preferably we need someone from each team that is likely to play in most of the games and is able to spend 10 minutes on the internet either on sunday/saturday night or monday morning from work. This is the new version of the Chorleywood Cricket Club website. Last year we ran this as a trial for just the Sunday 2nd team and it proved popular. It has now been improved to handle all the teams at the club. To see some actual stats you will have to go to the 1999 season and look at the Sunday 2nds section as this is the only section with data until this season gets underway.
