More website changes..New! |
The Player Profile pages have now changed. The profile is now a lot more of a summary, including top all time performances. You can then go to a statistics page (for the season or all time) which is like the old profile page with the graphs and full list of performances. There is also still the season statistics summary which shows a single line per season.
Various tweaks and updates to other pages too, like putting the result of the matches into the top performances pages - so you can see if the big scores or wickets were in vain.
Any comments or suggestions welcome. (Apart from a 6 hitting league Johnny!)

Summer PartyNew! |
A great time was had by all who attended the Club Summer party at Denham Golf Club on Friday last. The meal was fantastic with barbeque food and deserts to die for. The disco was great and the auction run by the Hodgkinsons made around £800 towards our development fund. Thanks to Alex who organised a really great evening. We hope it will become a regular event in the Club calendar.

CHORLEYWOOD VILLAGE DAY – SATURDAY 12THNew! |
Members please be aware that Village Day is taking place this Saturday in the drive behind our pavilion. 1st XI players at home to WGC please do not park next to the pavilion but across the road or in the next car park along as the area needs to be kept clear for large vehicles, fire engines, ambulances etc. to come through.
CWCC will not have a stall as last year, but will have a large poster on the back of the pavilion inviting villagers to come to the front for a free cuppa and biscuits and a chat about the future of CWCC on the Common. This is important as part of our public awareness campaign, preliminary to seeking donations. We shall hand out brochures about the Club that Rob and I have prepared, plus membership application forms and fixture cards to those interested. We shall set up a table at the front or side of the pavilion. Owen will be there but needs a few non-playing members to support him who can talk about cricket on the Common and our plans. Please let Owen know if you are able to support on 446412 or 07713862738 or email at owenedis@gmail.com this week. Thanks in advance.
